CASEing my own card

I often CASE my own design when I get a new stamp set and just want to play with it without thinking too hard. This is the card I made, using Bloomin' Love, when I got my pre-order last December.

I CASEd the design with Birthday Blooms. I think this is a great set for someone just starting stamping and card making. All the sentiments are really useful in the set and there are a few different sized images. You can create a focal point for the design as well as a background. This is all you need to start your stamping journey.
For my CASE card with this stamp set, I stamped the big follower with Blushing Bride ink on Blushing Bride card stock and coloured in here and there with Blender Pen, using  Blushing Bride ink. It looks really subtle but it creates depth.

And touched up with Wink of Stella pen to give some shimmer.

Used Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim to embellish the sentiment label. I love love love this lace trim in In Color 2015-2017, especially Watermelon Wonder. I even painted one of our living room walls in this colour.  I like to gather the lace trim a lot.

Another of  my recent favourite embellishments is to tie a bow around the lace trim. Doesn't it look like a butterfly?
